The King's planned surgical procedure has taken place

On the morning of 20 February, HM The King underwent a surgical procedure using laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery in the heart area.

The procedure went according to plan, and The King is feeling well.

The King would like to express his thanks for all the support and kindness he has been shown, and his gratitude to the Swedish healthcare service.
