Condolences to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany

Due to last night's shootings in the German city of Hanau, His Majesty The King has sent the following telegram of condolence to His Excellency President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The Queen and I wish to convey our sincere condolences on the tragic loss of lives following the brutal shooting in Hanau. We offer our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and to the people of Germany.
