Condolences to Governor General Johnston

Due to the horrific attack in Québec, His Majesty The King has sent the following telegram of condolence to His Excellency Governor General David Johnston.

I wish to convey my sincere condolences on the tragic loss of lives following the dreadful attack in the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec during evening prayers on Sunday night. I offer my heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and to the people of Canada.
