The King holds an audience with the Secretary General of NATO

On Tuesday 26 October, The King held an audience with NATO's Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

The audience took place in Princess Sibylla's Apartments at the Royal Palace.

NATO's Secretary General visited Sweden and Finland together with a delegation from NATO's highest decision-making body, the North Atlantic Council (NAC).

On the Tuesday, the delegation also visited the Prime Minister, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Minister for Defence, the Minister for Home Affairs and the Riksdag.

The NAC's visit to Sweden concluded in the Stockholm Archipelago, where the SWENEX naval exercise was being carried out in cooperation between the Swedish and Finish armed services.
