For those who wish to offer their congratulations to The King, it is recommended to consider H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf’s Foundation for Young Leadership and the business community's fundraising for the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
Both of these two collections are dear to the heart of The King, as they promote education within culture and leadership.
Any other gifts to The King may be submitted at Post & Logistics at the Royal Palace, weekdays between the hours of 8:00 to 15:30, for forwarding to The King. Gifts that are handed in at the Royal Palace should be marked with the giver’s name and address.
The H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf’s Foundation for Young Leadership was presented as a gift to The King on his 60th birthday, on the initiative of the Scouts. The Foundation works to encourage young leaders with a good value-based leadership. The Foundation is based on the scouting movement’s values and has Courage, Caring and Willingness to take action as its core value terms for good value-based leadership.
The King and the Foundation’s Board of Directors has decided to invest in a new period of activities of five years, with a focus Leadership for Sweden’s future. The Foundation will award additional grants to young recipients, organising meetings between leaders from all sectors and ages at five different places in the country, as well as continue to train young leaders in the civil society in value based leadership.

Business owners in Sweden have the opportunity to offer their congratulations to The King in connection with his 70th birthday via participating in a fundraising effort for the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
The purpose of raising the funds is that the gift will be made available to the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, for the purpose of financing the equipping of the new teaching and research facilities that are presently under construction. By this, the Royal College of Music in Stockholm will be prepared to meet future demands for education and research in the music scene as well as becoming a central meeting place for a music-interested public.
The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise coordinates the collection, which is also supported by the Swedish Federation of Business Owners, the Federation of Swedish Farmers, and the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
