On Monday 18 March, Prince Daniel visited Kungsmad School and Linnaeus University in Växjö to talk about Prince Daniel's Fellowship.
The Prince was accompanied by two representatives from the project's expert council: Johan Skarborg, CEO of Academic Work, and Filippa Knutsson, founder and CEO of Filippa K. Chair of the Prince Daniel's Fellowship steering group Lena Treschow Torell and moderator Beata Wickbom also took part. The visit to Växjö was arranged in association with the Swedish Young Enterprise Association, Drivhuset, Kronoberg County Administrative Board, Linnaeus University and Kungsmad School. The aim of Prince Daniel's Fellowship and its entrepreneurial programme is to inspire young people to become entrepreneurs, and to support a number of companies through mentoring. Prince Daniel's Fellowship has brought together a group of successful entrepreneurs and managers to form a council of experts who visit upper secondary schools, universities and university colleges in Sweden to inspire young people and to talk about their experiences as entrepreneurs. The expert council includes Daniel Ek, CEO and founder of Spotify, Cristina Stenbeck, Chairman of Investment AB Kinnevik, Niklas Zennström, CEO of Atomico and founder of companies including Skype, Filippa Knutsson, founder of Filippa K, and Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson AB.
