On Friday, September 26, H.M. Queen Silvia and H.R.H. Princess Madeleine will participate in the seminar "Children in the Age of Sustainable Development." The seminar will address the topic of Child Protection.

On Saturday, September 27, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine will attend a concert in Central Park arranged by Global Citizen. The purpose of the concert is to pay attention to the children's right.
The events in New York aim to consider a global sustainability framework for children's development, beginning at the most local level. The goal of this exploration is to identify ways to work across sectors in responding to the needs of children, particularly those who endure poverty, violence, and developmental barriers.
