The King presents medals to athletes

On Friday 18 June, The King awarded HM The King's Medal for Contributions within Swedish Sport during a ceremony in Queen Lovisa Ulrika's Dining Hall at the Royal Palace.

During the ceremony, Peppe Femling, Fredrik Lindström and Jesper Nelin received medals for their outstanding contributions within the biathlon. Jennie Wåhlin received a medal for her outstanding contributions within curling.

The medal, which was inaugurated by The King in 2019, is 5th size in gold, with a horizontal gold bay leaf twig on the ribbon.

The medals were awarded on 28 January 2019.
