The King attends the Court Singers at the Palace concert

On Wednesday 4 September, The King attended the Court Singers at the Palace concert in the Hall of State at the Royal Palace.

The concert featured performances by the four court singers Hillevi Martinpelto, Katarina Karnéus, Daniel Johansson and Karl-Magnus Fredriksson. The singers were accompanied by the Royal Palace Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Andrej Nikolaev.

Court Singer is an honorary title instituted by King Gustav III. The first court singers to be appointed were Elisabeth Olin and Carl Stenborg, in 1773.

The Court Singers at the Palace concert was part of a series of concerts held at the Royal Palace.
