The King attends a video meeting with Enviro

On Tuesday 4 May, The King took part in a video meeting with Scandinavian Enviro Systems. The company works with facilities for recycling worn-out tyres.

The meeting followed on from The King's 2016 visit to the company's tyre recycling facility in Åsensbruk, Dalsland Opens in new window.. CEO Thomas Sörensson and Chairman of the Board Alf Blomqvist spoke about the development of Scandinavian Enviro System's work to recycle and produce resources since then.

Scandinavian Enviro Systems was founded in 2011, and extracts materials such as carbon black, oil, steel and gas from old tyres.

The King visited Tyre Recycling in 2016, and is pictured here in front of silos of carbon. The carbon will be used for carbon black pelleting.
