On Friday 21 February, The King and The Crown Princess held an audience with Sweden's Ambassador to the UK Torbjörn Sohlström. During the meeting, The King and The Crown Princess received the latest information regarding the UK's departure from the European Union.

Following a number of years of negotiations, the UK left the EU on 1 February this year.

During the audience, The King and The Crown Princess had the opportunity to ask questions about what this means in terms of bilateral cooperation between Sweden and the UK, and how trade and investment will be affected.

Ambassador Sohlström also spoke about the significance of Brexit for Swedish citizens living in the UK.
