On Monday 18 January, The King, The Queen, The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel held a digital meeting with Johan Carlson, Director General of the Public Health Agency of Sweden.
During the meeting, Mr Carlson spoke about the current spread of infection in Sweden and the Agency's ongoing work in connection with the pandemic.
This was the third meeting between the Royal Family and the Director General during the pandemic.
The Public Health Agency of Sweden is a national expert authority that works to improve public health. It does so by developing and supporting society's work to promote health, prevent illness and protect against threats to health.
The Royal Family are keen to show their support for the initiatives being carried out by society to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Royal Family are staying informed about how the pandemic is affecting Sweden via discussions, digital meetings and visits.
These visits are planned based on current recommendations, and every effort is being made not to take up time and resources unnecessarily.
