In the afternoon, The Crown Princess opened a Swedish exhibition about diversity and equality, Images that change the world, on a square in central Rome. During the opening ceremony, The Crown Princess gave a speech in which she said:

"New ideas do not materialise out of nothing. They come from people: People who see things from a different angle, people who question the status quo, people who do not always fit the mould.

"To break new ground, we need to challenge ourselves; the way we look at the world – and each other.

"It is my hope that this exhibition will help us do that."
