On Friday 17 April, The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel held a telephone meeting with representatives from the cultural industry to find out how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the sector.

In recent weeks, The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel have contacted various industries in Sweden to find out how they have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Crown Princess Couple spoke with representatives from the Swedish Arts Councilexternal link, opens in new window, the Swedish Writers' Unionexternal link, opens in new window, the Swedish Union for Performing Arts and Filmexternal link, opens in new window and the Swedish Musicians' Union, who described how the pandemic has had a negative impact on Sweden's cultural sector, with many cancelled performances, productions and concerts.

The Royal Family are staying informed about how the pandemic is affecting Sweden via discussions, digital meetings and visits.
