SKYDD is Northern Europe's leading trade fair within safety, security and fire rescue. The event was first held in 1969. This year's trade fair attracted around 3,000 visitors and 250 exhibitors.
The Golden Firepost award was established by Swedish Firefighter, an industry publication targeted at politicians, rescue services, fire authorities and firefighters. The aim is to recognise rescue services that carry out extraordinary work in their day-to-day operations.
The award was established at the beginning of 2018, and will be presented annually.
