On Thursday 18 March, The King and Queen and The Crown Princess Couple took part in a digital meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs Ann Linde to find out about Sweden's chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSSE).

During the meeting, the Minister for Foreign Affairs described the work being carried out within OSSE, which Sweden is chairing during 2021.

OSSE is the world's largest regional security organisation, and has 57 member nations in Europe, Central Asia and North America. Its role is to strengthen trust and cooperation between its member states in order to prevent conflict, but it also works with conflict resolution in the event that crises arise.
