The Crown Princess Couple attend the Gothenburg Symphony Choir's centenary celebrations

On Friday 8 December, The Crown Princess Couple attended an anniversary concert at Gothenburg Concert Hall to mark the Gothenburg Symphony Choir's centenary.

The Gothenburg Symphony Choir gave its first performance on 8 December 1917 together with Gothenburg Orchestra Association (later Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra). This performance was conducted by Wilhelm Stenhammar. Crown Prince Gustav Adolfopens in new window and Crown Princess Margaretaopens in new window attended the concert.

On Friday evening, exactly 100 years later, The Crown Princess Couple attended the anniversary concert at Gothenburg Concert Hall. The presenter for the evening was Peter Schéle. Joachim Gustafsson conducted the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra which, together with the Gothenburg Symphony Choir and mezzosoprano Maria Forsström, performed:
