On Tuesday 15 October, the Young Leadership Foundation held a workshop on value-based leadership at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
The theme for the workshop was "How can good value-based leadership help to reduce social divisions?" The invited participants were recipients of the Young Leadership Foundation's Compass Rose Scholarship and the Swedish Academy of Board Directors' Golden Gavel Award. The aim of the day was to bring together experienced leaders and young leaders for intergenerational dialogue on value-based leadership.

President and CEO of Stena Fastigheter Christel Armstrong Darvik spoke on the theme of how businesses can and should contribute towards reducing social divisions. CEO of Fryshuset Johan Oljeqvist then spoke on the subject of how voluntary organisations can help to create hope and role models, with the aim of reducing social divisions.
The Young Leadership Foundation was founded to mark The King's 60th birthday, and promotes leadership training for young people based on the values of the Scout Movement.
