There have been a number of classic last-minute Olympic dramas in Swedish sporting history, including Lisa's final spurt in the triathlon on 4 August 2012. After 1,500 metres of swimming, 43 kilometres of cycling and 10 kilometres of running, it all came down to a photo finish.

About the Jerring Prize

The Jerring Prize is the only sports prize to be judged by the Swedish people, and is presented to the individual or team that has achieved the year's best performance in Swedish sport. The prize was instituted in 1979 by Radiosporten to commemorate the legendary radio journalist Sven Jerring, who died that year.
