From Friday 16 March to Sunday 18 March, The King visited the Swedish Ski Games and the world cup conclusion in Falun.
Friday began with The King watching the ladies' and men's prologue — the Queen and King of Mördarbacken. In the evening, a dinner was hosted at the County Governor's official residence for the Dalarna ski masters. Guests included all the winners of the Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan races, as well as other ski masters from the Dalarna region. On Saturday morning, The King learnt about the organisation of the Swedish Ski Games. The afternoon began with The King watching the men's 15 km mass start and the ladies' 10 km mass start. The King then took part in the prize-giving ceremony. Sunday began with a visit to the Swedish preparations for the competitions, after which The King watched the ladies' and men's pursuits. The day ended with The King and the International Ski Federation's Secretary General Sarah Lewis taking part in the prize-giving ceremony for the world cup final and the overall world cup.
