On Monday 27 August, The Crown Princess opened Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Berns in Stockholm.
The Crown Princess began her speech by saying: "When I travel abroad, people often come up to me to show me that they are wearing Swedish clothes. Not only is Swedish design well-known, it is also extremely popular and in high demand. "For me, Swedish fashion is a source of great pride. "Not only because of the international recognition it attracts, but also because of the enhanced respect for sustainability and the environment."
