The King and Queen attend the Royal Palace Music Festival

On Wednesday 8 September, The King and Queen attended the Royal Palace Music Festival in the Hall of State at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. The concert celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
The theme for the evening was "romantic sounds and virtuoso singing".

Soprano Elin Rombo performed Giacomo Meyerbeer's Gli Amori di Teolinda ("The Loves of Teolinda"), accompanied by the St Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Mats Liljefors.

The programme also included Mozart's Symphony Nº 39 in E Flat Major.
