The King at the opening of the Volvo Ocean Race stop at Marstrand.

On Wednesday 10 June, The King participated in the Swedish Economic Forum in Marstrand. The theme for the forum was "Leadership today and tomorrow."
In his opening speech on leadership, The King stressed that “it's basically about values and taking responsibility. The way in which we relate to each other and to nature is crucial if we are to retain a healthy environment - and thus a sustainable economy."

Following the "Leadership today and tomorrow" forum, The King went on to inaugurate the Volvo Ocean Race stop at Marstrand. This year is the tenth time that this global ocean race has taken place, and it is the first time that Marstrand has been one of the stops.
