Torsdagen den 26 maj sände Kungen kondoleanser till USA:s president.
Texten i kondoleanstelegrammet var som följer:
The Queen and I wish to express our deepest and sincere condolences on the loss of so many lives and the many injured caused by the tornados sweeping the Mid-Western states of the USA. We also wish to convey our heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims.
