Onsdagen den 24 november sände Kungen kondoleanser till Kambodjas kung Norodom Sihamoni.
Texten i kondoleanstelegrammet var som följer:

The Queen and I wish to express our deepest and sincere condolences on the tragic loss of life in connection with the Water Festival in Phnom Penh. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to the bereaved families.
