Condolences to President Ashraf Ghani

Due to the attack in Kabul, His Majesty The King has sent the following telegram of condolence to His Excellency President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.

The Queen and I wish to convey our sincere condolences on the tragic loss of lives following the terrible explosion in the center of Kabul yesterday morning.

We offer our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and to the people of Afghanistan.
