Court Mourning

After the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway, His Majesty has today, 28 August, proclaimed a period of Court Mourning to be observed at the Swedish Royal Court.
Court mourning of the first degree is observed by the Royal Court and His Majesty's Military Staff today, tomorrow, and on the day of the funeral.
Court mourning of the second degree is observed from 30 August until the day before the funeral.
Flags at half mast
Flags are being flown at half-mast at all royal palaces and buildings today and tomorrow, as well as on the day of the funeral.
