Farewell audience with Romania's ambassador

On 31 March, The King held a farewell audience with Romania's ambassador. The King received Ambassador Iulian Buga in Princess Sibylla's Apartments at the Royal Palace ahead of his departure from Sweden.

Audiences with ambassadors

More than one hundred ambassadors from around the world work in Sweden. When new ambassadors arrive in Sweden, they are invited to the Royal Palace for a formal audience with the Head of State. In the same way, albeit it on a less ceremonial scale, ambassadors who leave their post in Sweden are also invited for a farewell audience with The King.
