The Crown Princess Couple attend Pep Forum
On Wednesday 10 November, The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel attended Pep Forum. The day was arranged by Generation Pep, with the aim of promoting children's and young people's opportunities to live a healthy life.
This year's Pep Forum included the option of attending digitally or in person at the Quality Friends Hotel in Solna. A total of around 800 representatives from agencies, municipalities, regions, associations and industry took part.
In view of the fact that children and young people are exercising less and less, the participants discussed initiatives that can contribute towards healthier lifestyles.
The Crown Princess opened the forum with a speech, in which she said:
Sitting still did not begin with the pandemic – and it will not end with the pandemic. Our children and young people need help with shutting off their computers, putting away their mobile phones, and getting out and exercising. They need help with good eating and exercise habits. Everything that builds the foundation for a healthy life.
If we adults help them, Sweden will feel better.
