The Crown Princess visits the Sustainable Fashion Hub

On Tuesday 31 August, The Crown Princess visited the Sustainable Fashion Hub at Norrmalm in Stockholm. During her visit, The Crown Princess learnt about how the fashion industry works with sustainability issues.

The visit coincided with Stockholm Fashion Week, during which the hub was opened on Norrmalmstorg in Stockholm to highlight the fashion industry's sustainability work.

Meetings with young fashion entrepreneurs

During her visit, The Crown Princess met young female fashion entrepreneurs from four different fashion companies, who presented their business models and how they focus on sustainability and a closed eco-cycle.

The four companies were:

It's Re:leased
The company offers a subscription scheme for hiring clothing from various brands on a monthly basis.

Arkivet
The company gives customers the opportunity to offer clothing, shoes and accessories for sale, and then use the commission to buy 'new' clothing from the company's store.

Rerobe
The company sells exclusive second-hand and vintage clothing online.

Gemme Collective
The company hires new, contemporary fashion from various brands.
