The Royal Court is the official designation of the organisation that supports the Head of State and the Royal Family.

The organisation is structured like a company with His Majesty The King as the Chairman of the Board and the Marshal of the Realm as the Managing Director. Some 203 people work at the Royal Court with the task of supporting the Head of State and the Royal Court with their official duties.

A management council meets twice a month in order to coordinate the different operations of the Royal Court. The meeting is headed by the Marshal of the Realm. The management council is made up of the heads of the different offices and departments.
