The Royal Palace Music Festival

The Royal Palace Music Festival is a meeting place for music lovers, with a focus on classical music. Every year the palace presents a series of concerts featuring established soloists and young stars in the unique halls of the Royal Palace.

The Royal Palace Music Festival  ('Musik på Slottet') had its debut back in 1970 and the festival celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Conductor Mats Liljefors is Art Director of the event. King Carl XVI Gustav is the highest patron of the Royal Palace Music Festival.

The concerts mainly take place in the Hall of State and the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace.
