The Royal Gift Shop

The Tessin series. The original drawings by the Royal Palace architect Nicodemus Tessin the Younger have inspired to a series of products available in the Royal Gift Shop, such as notepads, pens and paper weights.

Welcome to a boutique that is something out of the ordinary. The Royal Gift Shop is a unique present and souvenir shop offering products with a connection to the Royal Collections.

Many of the products are produced in limited editions and can only be purchased at the Royal Gift Shop. Amongst other things, you can find unique interior design articles based on patterns from original material from the 1600s, 1700s and 1800s.  

The boutique's broad assortment offers everything from popular souvenir items such as postcards and key rings to exclusive jewellery in gold and silver.

Products with a story

The products below are photographed in the Royal Apartments, where interiors, art and collections have inspired the many of the unique items you will find at the Royal Gift Shop. The photos are created by still life producer Gustav Broström and photograper Magnus Torsne.

Fabric for a queen. In the armchair from the late Gustavian era, made for queen Sofia Magdalena, lays a pillow from the Royal Gift Shop. The motive on the original silk fabric comes from ancient time. The chair can be seen in the Bernadotte Apartments at the Royal Palace.

Attention! Tin lions and tin soldiers from the Royal Gift Shop guards the floor in 'The White Sea'. The floor was made by Heinrich Dumrath when the Palace's ballroom was built in 1845.

The wings of history. Painted butterflies and plants cover a series of pots and bowls, photographed here in the Western vault. Can be bought at the Royal Gift Shop and in the web store.
