The Queen holds an audience with the UN Special Representative on Violence Against Children

On Monday 25 November, The Queen received Marta Santos Pais, the UN Special Representative on Violence Against Children, at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
Ms Santos Pais presented the reports "Toward a World Free from Violence" and "Promoting Restorative Justice for Children", which she had written on behalf of the UN.
 
Assistant Kim Sylwander and Anna Hägg-Sjöquist, Secretary General of Plan Sweden, also attended the audience.
 
Marta Santos Pais has more than 30 years of experience working for children's rights, including with UNICEF and as an advisor to the UN Secretary General.
 
During her visit to Stockholm, Ms Santos Pais will be taking part in a round-table conference together with various children's rights organisations and visiting the Global Child Forumexternal link, opens in new window.
