On Monday 2 September, The Queen attended the start of the Silvia Sisters training. Sixty assistant nurses from all around Sweden started their two-year training.
The Queen welcomed everyone and spoke about the training. She then spoke with several of the new students. The Queen learnt about the students' own experiences of working with dementia care and nursing, and what they hoped to achieve in their training.
