On Tuesday 9 April, The King presented Business Sweden's Swedish Export Prize at Stockholm City Hall.
This year's Swedish Export Prize was awarded to the company Envirotainer AB, which provides secure chilled transportation for the pharmaceutical industry and its logistics partners. The company develops, manufactures and hires out active temperature-controlled container solutions for air transportation of temperature-sensitive products. The ceremony was opened by Business Sweden's CEO Ulf Berg. Jens Spendrup then spoke about "An entrepreneur and brewing dynasty from Grängesberg", and writer Mari Jungstedt spoke on the subject of "Sweden's most frightened export writer". The King then presented the Swedish Export Prize to Envirotainer AB.
About the Swedish Export Prize
The Swedish Export Prize is an annual award that was established in 2005 with the aim of recognising successful Swedish export companies. The prize is awarded to a Swedish company that has:
Demonstrated strong growth in its exports or foreign sales in recent years, including successes in more than one market,
Shown growth in terms of added value, organic growth and employment in its Swedish operations,
Developed a strong concept in its market offering or marketing, and
Increased its sales in combination with healthy profitability.
