The King holds an audience with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon

On Wednesday 14 May, The King held an audience with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

During his visit to Sweden, Ban Ki-moon also took part in the Global Forum on Migration and Developmentexternal link, opens in new window. The opening speakers were The Crown Princess, Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

During the forum, around 450 delegates from 140 different countries gathered in Stockholm to discuss migration and development. The meeting was hosted by Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy Tobias Billström and Minister for International Development Cooperation Hillevi Engström.

The Crown Princess visited the UN in New Yorkopens in new window last October, where she met with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
