On Monday 4 March, The King held an audience with Thailand's Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
During her visit to Stockholm, Prime Minister Shinawatra also met Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt for discussions at Rosenbad. The agenda included bilateral relations between Sweden and Thailand, and how they can be developed further, for example through trade, investments and tourism. The economic situation in Europe and Asia and respect for human rights were also discussed. Prime Minister Shinawatra also met the Speaker of the Riksdag and visited Hammarby Sjöstad to learn about the SymbioCity sustainable cities concept. Find out more about SymbioCity here.
