The King and Queen hold an audience with the National Criminal Police

On Wednesday 16 January, The King and Queen held an audience with the National Criminal Police at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
Head of the National Criminal Police Klas Friberg and Head of Analysis Niklas Lund began by giving The King and Queen a summary of how the National Criminal Police works and how the body cooperates with authorities and other Swedish police forces. They also gave The King and Queen an overview description of organised crime in Sweden today.
 

About the National Criminal Police


The National Criminal Police deals with three areas: serious organised crime, international cooperation and emergency preparedness. For example, the National Criminal Police is responsible for national emergency preparedness in the event of a crisis or specific events, as well as national resources such as the Swedish National Task Force and the Swedish Police Wing.
