On Wednesday 4 September, The Crown Princess presented the Stockholm Junior Water Prize at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö.
During the ceremony, held in the Victoria Hall, The Crown Princess presented the prize to Naomi Estay and Omayra Toro. They were awarded a scholarship worth USD 5,000 and a blue glass sculpture in the form of a drop of water. The Stockholm Junior Water Prize brings together thousands of participants from more than 30 different countries, and is an open competition for young people aged between 15 and 20. The Crown Princess is patron of the award, which celebrates its 17th anniversary this year. Find out more about the Stockholm Junior Water Prize here.
