Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women, with more than 7,500 women being diagnosed with the disease every year in Sweden. Today, more than 90,000 women in Sweden are suffering from or have survived breast cancer. Each year around 1,400 women die from breast cancer.
The Pink Ribbon campaign will run throughout October with the aim of fighting breast cancer by raising money for cancer research, raising awareness of the disease and stimulating debate.
