On Tuesday 1 April, The Crown Princess Couple visited the Swedish Public Employment Service's offices in Solna and learnt about their establishment operations.

The Crown Princess Couple were received by Head of the Swedish Public Employment Service Ewy Lagnehag Persson.

The visit began with The Crown Princess Couple finding out about the Swedish Public Employment Service's establishment operations and its establishment role nationally.

The Crown Princess Couple then had the opportunity to speak with newly arrived job seekers.

About the Swedish Public Employment Service's establishment operations

On 1 December 2010, a new reform came into force to speed up the introduction of newly arrived immigrants in work and community life. The aim is that new arrivals should become established more quickly through a clear focus on early initiatives in connection with work and language.
