The Crown Princess Couple attend the World Ski Championships

On Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 February, The Crown Princess Couple visited the World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme, Italy.
On Tuesday, The Crown Princess Couple watched the ladies' 10 km freestyle event, in which Charlotte Kalla came 7th, Anna Haag came 17th, Emma Wikén came 19th and Lisa Larsen came 51st.
 
On Wednesday, The Crown Princess Couple visited the Swedish ski-waxing team. They were shown the waxing bus and learnt about how waxing is carried out for the Swedish team.
 
The Crown Princess Couple then watched the men's 15 km freestyle event from the track with Rikard Grip, the ladies' national trainer, who supported the Swedish skiers with times.
 
In the men's 15 km freestyle event, Johan Olsson came 2nd, Calle Halfvarsson came 6th, Daniel Richardsson came 10th and Marcus Hellner came 17th.
