On Monday 14 July, thousands of people gathered in front of Solliden Palace on Öland to congratulate The Crown Princess on her 37th birthday.
The Crown Princess listened as people wished her a happy birthday in the sunshine, followed by a round of cheers from the crowd, which is traditionally led by The King. The Queen, Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle also attended the celebrations.
At midday, a gun salute was fired from Skeppsholmen in Stockholm.
In the evening, The King and Queen, The Crown Princess Couple, Prince Carl Philip, Miss Sofia Hellqvist, Princess Madeleine and Mr Christopher O'Neill were driven from Solliden Palace to the celebrations at Borgholm Sports Arena in a horse-drawn cortège.
The Crown Princess presented this year's Victoria Scholarship to the Swedish ladies' and men's ski relay teams from the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
Ida Ingemarsdotter, Anna Haag, Emma Wikén and Charlotte Kalla competed for Sweden in the ladies' team, while the men's team consisted of Lars Nelson, Johan Olsson, Daniel Richardsson and Marcus Hellner.
The Sochi Winter Olympic Games marked the first time both Swedish relay teams have won gold at the same games.
