The banns of marriage are published for Princess Madeleine and Mr Christopher O'Neill at the Royal Chapel

On Sunday 19 May at 11:00, a service was held at the Royal Chapel at which the banns of marriage were published for Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill.
In addition to Princess Madeleine and Mr Christopher O'Neill, The King and Queen, The Crown Princess Couple, Prince Carl Philip and Mr Christopher O'Neill's mother Eva Maria O'Neill also attended the service. The Royal Chapel, which holds 400 people, was almost completely full.
 
The service was led by Chaplain to The King Lars-Göran Lönnermark, Pastor of the Royal Court Parish Michael Bjerkhagen and Court Chaplain Staffan Eklund.

The service began with a fanfare by Director of Music Olle Hermansen, who also took part in the liturgical parts of the service together with Court Organist Lars Blohm.
 
Music by Princess Eugénie, W.A. Mozart, David Åhlén and George Frideric Handel was performed by harpsichordist Anna Paradiso and recorder player Dan Laurin, together with the Royal Chapel Vocal Ensemble and the Palace Choir, under the direction of Court Organist Mary Ljungquist Hén.
