On Friday 15 February, Princess Madeleine attended a concert with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra at the Carnegie Hall in New York, USA.
The concert opened with Rolf Martinsson's Open Mind, after which Elin Rombo performed Edvard Grieg's Spring and Wilhelm Stenhammar's Fylgia and The Maid Returned from Meeting her Lover. Violinist Ray Chen performed Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1. The concert concluded with Jean Sibelius' Symphony No. 2. The conductor was Sakari Oramo. Find out more about the concert here.
