On Monday 8 April, Prince Daniel visited Berättarministeriet in Södertälje.
The visit began with Dilsa Demirbag-Sten, Operational Manager at Berättarministeriet, speaking about the organisation's writing workshop at Luna Culture Centre in Södertälje.
Prince Daniel then spent time with class 3 red from Brunnsäng School in Södertälje as they wrote their narratives.
The visit concluded with The Prince meeting Robin Karlsson-Ax, a young debut writer from Berättarministeriet's writing school.
Berättarministeriet runs writing workshops for children and young people aged between 8 and 18, in areas of high unemployment. The aim is to improve socioeconomic mobility within society by inspiring children and young people in a fun and creative way to master written language skills.
Berättarministeriet is a non-profit, politically and religiously independent foundation, and is run in partnership between the private, public and voluntary sectors. It currently operates two writing workshops, in Järva and Södertälje.
