Prince Daniel presents awards at YUMP Day 2013

On Wednesday 27 November, Prince Daniel presented the Coolest Company, Otto of the Year and YUMPer of the Year awards at YUMP Day in Stockholm.
Every year, YUMP (the Young Urban Movement Project) holds a day of seminars about crowd solving. The day is based on people from different backgrounds sharing their experiences and getting help with solving and developing ideas.
 
During YUMP Day 2013, The Prince presented awards to young entrepreneurs. The Coolest Company 2013 award was presented to Jon Widegren from Flippin' Burgers. Otto of the Year 2013 went to Maria Lasharí from Ridiculousexternal link, opens in new window, and YUMPer of the Year 2013 was won by Lina Tötterman, whose business — She Cab, a taxi company with female drivers — offers safer transport for women.
 
The Prince gave a brief address in which he mentioned the importance of organisations such as YUMP, which enable entrepreneurs to meet each other and exchange ideas. YUMP Academy is an entrepreneurial organisation that teaches the practical art of launching an idea. It supports young people, particularly those from suburban areas, and provides them with a network of experienced advisors.
