On Monday 24 February, Prince Carl Philip took part in the celebrations to welcome the Olympic squad home at Kungsträdgården in Stockholm.

Members of the Swedish Olympic squad came straight from Arlanda Airport to the festivities in Kungsträdgården. During the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Sweden won 15 medals – a new Swedish record.

The Prince and Chairman of the Swedish Olympic Committee Stefan Lindeberg welcomed the Olympic squad on the stage. The presenters and hosts for the celebrations were Ola Wenström and Carolina Klüft.
