On Thursday 19 December, Princess Madeleine presented the Swedish Equestrian Federation's Jubilee Foundation scholarship to Paulinda Friberg at the Royal Mews in Stockholm.
The scholarship presentation ceremony began with Chair of the Jubilee Foundation Gunilla Wikman welcoming all those present and explaining about the foundation.

The Royal Mews gave a brief display, with coachman Claudia Doria riding Barration, coachman Lillemor Andersson riding Harry and Ellen Hedbys from Djursholm Riding Club riding the Welsh cob pony Pasche.

The ceremony concluded with Princess Madeleine presenting the scholarship to dressage rider Paulinda Friberg.

The Jubilee Foundation's jury said:
"Through her personality and the care she shows for her horses, Paulina is an excellent role model for Swedish equestrian sport. This scholarship will provide the opportunity for additional training both in Sweden and abroad, to help her take the next step towards national team level and aim towards the 2016 Rio Olympics."
